KARACHI: Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, spiritual leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community, was awarded an honorary DLitt (Doctor of Letters) degree by the University of Karachi at Governor House on Tuesday.

Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad, who is chancellor of public sector universities in the province, awarded the degree to Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, who thanked the governor and the University of Karachi for awarding him the degree honoris causa.
