Renowned Indian music composer Aadesh Shrivastava passed away on Sept 5. He was 51. The musician had cancer, and was battling the disease for five years. In the last couple of weeks, he had stopped responding to chemotherapy.

He was known for composing music for successful films like Chalte Chalte and Baghbaan. His wife Vijeta Pandit (heroine of the 1980s famous film Love Story) and his brothers-in-law, composers Jatin-Lalit were by his bedside when he passed away.
