KARACHI: Raza Sawani beat Vinod Das to win the men’s singles title while Nouman Aftab clinched the U-16 title by outplaying Zubair Raja on the final day of the prestigious Third Indus Pharma Open National Tennis which concluded at the Karachi Club on Thursday.

Amin Shafi won the U-14 title while Abdullah Khan prevailed over Yahya Ehtisham.

Fayyaz Ali Butt , Minister of Sports, Sindh, was the chief guest on the occasion while Saeed Ismail, Chairman Indus Pharma, and Ovais Asad, Head CSR National Bank of Pakistan were the guests of honour.

Other prominent personalities present on the occasion were Khawaja Saeed Hai. Aslam Khan, Asad Ali Bhagat, Khalid Rehmani, Asghar Baloch, Erum Bukhari, Farha Riaz, Ishrat Zehra, and Safdar Abbas.

Boys U-16 Singles final: Nouman Aftab beat Zubair Raja 6-3, 7-5

Boys U-14 Singles final: Amin Shafi beat Houd Azhar 6-4, 4-0 rtd.

Boys U-12 Singles final: Abdullah Khan bt Yahia Ehtisham 8-2

35 Doubles final: Asad Bhagat-Raza Ali Mirza bt Ali Hasan Bhagat-Kaleem Ghanchi 8-4. —Agencies
