Inter-school tennis begins

KARACHI: The preliminary rounds of the Horlicks Inter-school tennis tournament kicked off at the Karachi Gymkhana tennis courts on Saturday. The event, to be played on the weekends, is organized by Perfect Strokes.

Thirty teams representing seventeen schools are participating in the event.

In the under-15 age group, CAS II prevailed over Beaconhouse I after a hard fought match.

Other teams to go through to the next round were Bayview Academy I and II, KGS I and Beaconhouse II.

In the under-16 age group, Bayview College Ali Public School, Beaconhouse I and II, Nixor College and DHA. Public School all advanced to the next round.
