Simply melodious! It has warmed many a Pakistani heart (on Facebook and Twitter) to see an English folk/alternative singer Tanya Wells sing ghazal maestro Mehdi Hasan’s compositions.

Last week her video singing, using her guitar, the famous Mehdi Hasan song Duniya kisi ke pyar mein went viral on the Internet, and justifiably so, for two reasons: one, a westerner singing a Pakistani tune; two, she sang it with such mellifluousness and in-pitch that it pleasantly surprised many music lovers. Great stuff, Tanya W. More!
