SWABI: Two men were found dead in different areas in Swabi district during Eidul Azha holidays, said police here on Sunday.

The families of both the deceased said that the reason of their killing was not known. Police have been investigating the cases. Both the incidents occurred in the night under a well-planned strategy, an official said.

Bahar Ali, the brother of the deceased, told police that the local people informed them that the dead body of his brother was lying near Naro Banda Janazgah.

He said that they informed police and went there to collect the body.

Similarly, Mohammad Rashid of Bamkhel village had gone out with his unidentified friends and did not return.

Registering FIR, his brother Hazrat Bilal told police that they had no enmity with anyone and the cause of his death was not known. “It was a big surprise and shock for us when we came to know,” he said.

Police registered FIRs in both the cases against unidentified persons and started investigations.
