KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the date of filing of withholding tax statements to Oct 8.

The FBR has allowed this extension under the provisions of Section 165(2) of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001and power conferred under Section 214A, said an announcement.
