KARACHI: Dozens of students from different educational institutions visited the Malir cantonment on Thursday where they saw a demonstration of the Pakistan army’s antiterrorism operational skills and also took part in firing exercises, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement.

“The students showed a keen interest in the use of different weapons systems including tanks and armoured personnel carriers,” it said. “They also participated in firing practice of small arms. The students appreciated the resolve of the Pakistan army and reiterated that the young generation stands shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan army.”

The students, the statement said, also visited the Mehran Institute of Special Children, run by the Pakistan army, where they were briefed about their education system.
