LAHORE: On Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) request for testing on off-spinner Bilal Asif’s bowling action, the international Cricket Council (ICC) has set Oct 19 as the date with Sri Ramachandra University in Chennai being the venue.

Bilal, 30, will leave for Chennai on Sunday (Oct 18).

Sialkot-born Bilal was reported with a suspect illegal bowling action during the third and final ODI against Zimbabwe in Harare earlier this month.

Bilal is the third Pakistan off-spinner — after ace off-spinner Saeed Ajmal and veteran Mohammad Hafeez — who has been reported for suspect action in international cricket.
