QUETTA: Five suspected militants were arrested in raids jointly conducted by the personnel of intelligence agencies and Anti-Terrorism Force on a seminary and a house on Friday, official sources said.

“They are target killers and belong to the banned Jaishul Islam group,” a senior security official said.

Three of the suspects were arrested from the house on Sariab Road.

Later, security personnel raided the seminary in Satellite Town and arrested two suspects.

“All five suspects are target killers who have been handed over to the authorities concerned for interrogation,” the sources said, adding that arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession.
