LAHORE: The indictment of Pakistan Awami Tehreek workers in the Model Town killings case is “state terrorism” against innocent citizens as the real culprits of the tragedy are still at large.

This was stated by PAT Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri while commenting on a court verdict in the Model Town case.

Talking to party leaders by phone from abroad here on Wednesday, he said live coverage of the incident was viewed by the whole world but the court apparently ignored the footage showing the killing of 14 PAT activists in a police action in June 2014.

He said the report of the single-member commission comprising Justice Baqir Najfi on the incident had yet to see light of the day and PAT could not get a copy of it despite making efforts for the last five months.
