ISLAMABAD: Italian authorities on Thursday deported a Pakistani national over his suspected links with religious extremists, security sources said.
The man— who hails from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Mardan district — was escorted to Islamabad's Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIA) by Italian police.
The man was detained in Italy for being an alleged sympathiser of religious extremists.
After he was handed over to FIA, the suspect has been shifted to the agency's passport cell for investigation, sources added.
The man hails from Mardan's Dher village.
Correction: An earlier version of this story had incorrectly stated that the deported man was an APS attack suspect. The error is regretted.

This man is highly dangerous and should have been immediately confined under top-most security at undisclosed place.
Shifting him to passport cell for investigation is the most careless and dangerous thing to do.

This should be the case for all those who are at large after big financial corruptions and frauds done in Pakistan. They should all be named and asked to be given to Pakistan to get the money back from their foreign accounts.

It is quite obvious that APS attacked was planned, finance and had blessings of some foreign powers. Otherwise how on earth a terrorist of such level manage to live in Italy?

This man (I can not say a criminal, until it is proved) was living in one of the best places in Europe - in Sardinia - not even 200 KM from my Italian home. I hope taht the investigation as well as the punishments would be quick and fair. Anyone killing innocent people, particularly childern can not expect any mild tratment at all.

This is the way to go. When someone makes serious efforts, in catching criminals, there is no way they get away. This is how all of the terrorist attacks should be worked at and eventually better days will follow. Great job LEAs.
