Gwadar road

Published November 4, 2015

THE Gwadar Development Authority is building a 70-foot wide road from Javed Complex to Mullah Fazal Chowk. The builders do not seem to realise that this road will affect many shops already functioning in the city.

As young citizens of this port city, we welcome development projects for Gwadar, but the builders should consider the hardships of those affected.

Recently shopkeepers whose outlets will be affected by the road took out a rally to protest. They demanded that a market be provided for them in the Coast Guard area.
