NEW YORK: As hundreds of people demonstrated against Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s appearance on legendary Saturday Night Live show in New York, inside the studio he bombed as most cast members displayed little enthusiasm for his appearance.

The protesters observed that Trump who had openly bad mouthed the Mexican immigrants as ‘rapists’ and ‘murderers’ and spoke about building a wall at the southern border had no place on the comedy show which enjoyed huge late-night ratings.

It was apparent that no-one involved with Saturday’s “SNL” episode seemed to have the desire to participate in it or play with Trump. The cast members displayed an uncomfortable vibe of reluctance when it came to performing on stage with the bombastic billionaire.

Even jokes about their awkwardness being around him fell flat. The protesters continued rallying against Trump till the show ended at 1 minute to midnight.
