The current wave of extremism in India has made many a Pakistani artist wary. Even if they have a lucrative offer to work across the Wagah border, they will think twice before saying yes. Security has become the prime issue fro m them, as it should. Not for actor Javed Sheikh, it seems.

According to local media, Javed S has been given a visa to visit India, where he will be landing next month for an acting assignment. The actor says if he has been granted the permission to go there, then it is the Indian government’s responsibility to provide him with security. And that’s why he doesn’t feel scared. Well, sir, things are not as rosy as when you worked in Om Shanti Om. Times have changed. Be careful. Discretion is the better part of valour, especially in showbiz.
