LAHORE: Ex-flames Ranbir Kapoor and Depika Padukone have reached Pakistan, only through video link, to promote their upcoming film Tamasha.

Ranbir said he had a great desire to visit Pakistan as his father Rishi Kapoor had also visited Pakistan to shoot movie Henna, starring Zeba Bakhtair, in the 90s.

Ranbir with Deepika addressed the Pakistani media through video link at a local hotel on Friday.

Their movie, which also stars veteran actor Javed Sheikh, is being released on Nov 27. Ranbir held Javed Sheikh in high esteem for his matured acting in the movie. Mr Sheikh is playing Ranbir’s father’s role in the film.

The Kapoor scion said he had been approached by Pakistani producers for roles in Pakistani films, however, good films were needed to be produced on either side of the border. He said he was working with Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Imran Abbas in his next movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, produced and directed by Karan Johar.

Deepika was asked about her preferred Bollywood heroes in films. She said she would like to work with all heroes but the kind of luck and success she had earned with Ranbir showed that their screen chemistry was quite a success. “There is something special about our chemistry,” she added.
