QUETTA, Dec 26: The Balochistan government has decided to restore the ‘real beauty’ and historic status of the Ziarat Residency and declared it national heritage, it was officially announced here on Monday.

“Special steps have been taken to restore the real beauty of this national heritage, which remained under the use of the Father of the Nation,” a spokesman for the provincial government said.

The Governor, Justice (retd) Amirul Mulk Mengal, has approved a comprehensive plan in this regard.

With the implementation of this plan the historic status and beauty of the residency would be restored.

It was decided that in future this building would not be used as Governor House, Circuit House or Rest House.
