A REPORT by MPA Mehar Muhammad Fiaz on Jhelum riots sent to Punjab chief minister and published on Nov 30 has revealed shocking facts about Jhelum riots on Nov 20.
I hope the chief minister will ensure immediate compensation to and rehabilitation of the affected people and promptly punish the culprits.
I hope the money lost will be recovered from the culprits as it is unfair to punish poor taxpayers for the crime of others. I hope the court will set an example of speedy justice.
