Religious teaching cemtre Al-Huda International Welfare Foundation has distanced itself from Tashfeen Malik, one of the attackers who shot 14 people dead in California last week, a day after the news broke that the shooter was a student of the organisation's Multan centre.
A statement on the foundation's website says , "Tashfeen Malik had studied at Al-Huda International’s Multan branch for a brief period between 2013 and 2014. She left without completing the Diploma course. No organisation can be held responsible for personal acts of any of its students."

The statement also says that, "The organisation does not have links to any extremist regime and stands to promote peaceful message of Islam and denounces extremism, violence and terrorism of all kinds."
The website says that the organisation firmly believes that any aware Muslim would never involve himself/herself in violent acts.
"In order to maintain full transparency about what we teach and what we believe in, we have kept our courses open and available online," the statement concluded.
Founded by Farhat Hashmi in 1994, Al-Huda has no known extremist links. It functions as a religious teaching centre and is also involved in welfare activities.

Yes, of course but what if the organization is continuously producing terrorists. There more news that students of Huda Toronto (Canada) branch also joined ISIS.

Alhuda, as I know it, is a peaceful organization. I have heard their opponents criticizing them on "not believing in struggle". And now, it is completely contrary what is being poured on them. They are indeed, most peaceful and non-violent (and inert) organization, so I think any links should not be made to them.

@M Taimur . The organization is absolutely right because thousands students attend Al Huda courses online and on the premises . She also attended Bahaudin University for five years, should we blame the university too? Her husband had affiliation with IS ideology and bought the guns before the marriage. It appears he radicalized her after the marriage. I have attended many seminars of Al Huda and did not find anything against other religions. Why blame the schools and not the parents who did not supervise their activities?

The issue is very complex. We are talking about a brain/mind- an important organ in human body. Information goes in actions come out. What Alhuda is teaching we all know very well. The religious institutions strongly deliver one message and that is that this live has no value it the life after death that we should worry about. This one single message has the seeds of terrorism. These jihadis who kill innocent people see Jannat right in their minds and this kind of thinking they get from institutions like Alhuda.

@M Taimur .Her husband attended public schools in California and no religious schools. There are lot of Christians involved in mass shootings in US, should we blame their public school system?if you are against any education to kids, try ignorance and see what you get.

I am not defending anyone especially people and countries who kill innocent people in the name of "peace". Is there any concrete evidence that this couple has killed the innocent people? Has someone seen them killing? Is there any CCTV footage available? These points need to be answered and probed into by the investigating agencies. We should not jump to our own baseless conclusions.

Huda madrassa must be checked thoroughly from top to bottom, their hidden corners, all teachers and their links and their beackgrounds, what kind of lessons they are teaching in classes, what's the difference between their live class lectures and the written material they have uploaded online on their website. Their financial aids. Where is it coming from. Each and Every single detail is important. Let us make Pakistan peaceful and prosperous together.

Blaming Al Huda academy is like blaming Smith & Wesson for making AR 15 or blaming GMC motor company in which these two terrorist came. Credit should go to creditor not to irrelevant. I have seen Al Huda students and how they go to extreme lengths. They are voilent especially who are living abroad. Not all are bad but most of them tend to oppress others. In Milaads I have seen people giving extremely bad advise to women, men and children. Infact they dint even know the teachings of Islam.
