CASTRO VALLEY: A California state worker has been caught on video making anti-Islamic slurs and then throwing coffee and an umbrella at a group of Muslim men praying at San Francisco Bay Area park.

KNTV reported Wednesday that East Bay Regional Park District spokeswoman Carolyn Jones said the district's police officers were forwarding their investigation to the district attorney's office for review.

Jones said prosecutors will then decide whether to charge Department of Corrections administrative worker Denise Slader.

Slader's actions at Lake Chabot Regional Park in Castro Valley were captured on video and posted on Facebook by Rasheed Albeshari.

In the video, Slader stands with her purse, umbrella and a cup of coffee, saying Albeshari's "people have tortured" others.

American Muslims have expressed concern about an increase in Islamophobia since authorities said a young Muslim couple, Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, stormed a party attended by San Bernardino County employees on December 2, leaving 14 people dead and 21 wounded.

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump called on Monday for a ban on Muslims entering the United States, drawing fierce criticism from both the White House and rivals candidates in his own party.
