THATTA: The Samoon Panel led by Advocate Soomar Samoon staged a clean sweep in the Thatta Distirct Bar Association election held on Saturday.

Advocates Mir Mohammad Jamali (65 votes) and Ahmed Ali Halo (69 votes) were declared elected president and general secretary, respectively, after polling for the two slots. All other office-bearers, fielded by the Samoon Panel, had already returned unopposed. Among them is Advocate Samoon who holds a seat in the executive committee.
