In her third book to date, Talat Rahim explores the various facets of hypocrisy – or what the author likes to call the “proverbial hippopotamus in the room”. In 18 chapters, Rahim looks at the different ‘kinds’ of hypocrisy such as social, sexual and moral etc. No segment of Pakistani society has been spared either, with Rahim critiquing everyone from the noveau riche to “art enthusiasts”.
