QUETTA: Educational institutions remained closed across the Balochistan province on Wednesday to pay homage to martyrs of last year’s terrorist attack on the Army Public School, Peshawar.

Headquarters of Frontier Corps and Army Garrison School and College organised memorial services for the departed souls.

The FC Balochistan held ceremonies in Quetta, Kalat, Mastung, Khuzdar, Bela, Zhob, Ziarat, Chaman and Loralai which were attended by politicians, tribal elders, citizens and students.

Debate competitions were held at which speakers paid rich tribute to the martyrs of APS. They said the sacrifices rendered by the APS students had brought the nation on one platform.
