Sonam says

Published December 20, 2015

You wouldn’t have expected Sonam Kapoor to talk sense. Well, she’s capable of doing that as well. Last week, expressing her views at a conference (she and conference, seriously) on intolerance the actress admitted that she had faced racism in her life. She said, “When I go abroad, people already have their perception, like we are always in purdah or our parents are very conservative. Even we are judgmental. We see white skin and we think that the girl is loose. Judging is in human nature.” She went on to say that the fact that people are talking about the issue is a healthy sign. Wow, that’s profound. I wish some of it would rub off onto her acting skills.
