LARKANA: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Larkana on Wednesday announced the result of Higher Secondary Certificate Part-I (class-XI) annual examination of pre-medical, pre-engineering, humanities and commerce groups.

According to the statistical data provided by BISE to the press, of the 16,133 students appeared in the pre-medical, 12,906 could clear all six subjects while 1,764 students were declared passed in five subjects, 495 in four subjects, 294 in three subjects, 59 in two subjects and 30 students could clear only one subject.

In the pre-engineering group, 10,650 students appeared and 8,148 could pass all six subjects while 1,270 five subjects, 528 four subjects, 115 three subjects) and only eight candidates only one subject.

In the humanities group, some 3,205 students took examination. Of them 2,185 were declared passed in six subjects, 521 in five subjects, 129 in four subjects, 35 in three subjects, 20 in two subjects and 16 in only one subject.

Some 291 students appeared in the commerce group. Of them 209 candidates were declared passed in seven subjects, 51 in six subjects, 17 in five subjects, eight in four subjects and only one in three subjects.
