LAHORE: Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri met Shahbaz Sharif here on Sunday and they discussed matters of mutual interest, political situation and measures for promotion of inter-provincial harmony.

The Punjab CM congratulated Mr Zehri on taking over the office of the Balochistan provincial chief and hoped that he would utilise all his abilities and energies for the welfare of the Baloch people. He offered cooperation on behalf of the Punjab government for the implementation of public welfare projects in Balochistan and said collective efforts were needed for the progress and prosperity of the country.

Mr Zehri commended Shahbaz Sharif for his role in promotion of inter-provincial harmony and said the Balochistan government would benefit from the experience of Punjab in the development of education, health, infrastructure, transport and other sectors.

Senator Agha Shahbaz Durrani was also present.
