LAHORE: Condemning the Mardan blast, PAT Chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri said those responsible for the act of terrorism want to sabotage peace in the country.
In a statement on Tuesday, he said a handful of terrorists wanted to bring a bad name to Islam and the country.
He said the “incompetent” rulers and the parliament were asleep and least bothered about such incidents as they themselves were “facilitators of terrorists”.
He said had the rulers been serious in eliminating terrorism and implemented the 20 points of the National Action Plan, such an incident would never have occurred.
