SIALKOT: Five masked robbers looted gold ornaments, cash, prize bonds and other valuables worth Rs20 million from the house of an exporter at Allama Iqbal Colony here late on Saturday night.

Reports said that armed men barged into Atif Muneer’s house, held the family hostage, collected cash and valuables and fled with the booty.

Police are looking into the matter.

Four dacoits plundered ornaments, cash, electronic items and other valuables worth Rs1 million from the house of a landlord in Kotli Noshera village, Satrah.

Reports said that bandits stormed into the house of Muhammad Basit, made hostage all family members, gathered cash and valuables and escaped.

Satrah police are investigating the matter.

Three armed men snatched a motorcycle, Rs25,000 in cash and a mobile phone from trader Muhammad Riaz at Marala-Ravi-Link Canal near Saahowala.

Thieve(s) took away a car of trader Muhammad Adnan Khan from outside a hotel on Mujahid Road in Sialkot.
