Mama, they are very cruel

This is regarding the cover article “Mama, they are very cruel!” by Ambreen Arshad (YW, December 19, 2015). The cover reminded me of the saddest day in Pakistan’s history. And reading about the account of the inspiring and brave survivor Mohammad Waleed Khan, I couldn’t stop my tears.

The terrorists who attacked Army Public School should not be called humans, they were beasts! How could anyone carry out such a barbaric act? This is beyond one’s imagination.

The martyrs are in our hearts and will always be remembered. May Allah protect all of us and may Pakistan prosper. I will always love Pakistan and Pakistan Army.

The account of M. Waleed Khan in the cover article “Mama, they are very cruel” made me cry. I am deeply moved after reading the excerpts of his diary.

The pain of the families of the APS survivors and the martyrs is beyond imagination. Obviously, these people are trying to live without their loved ones but the pain is unforgettable and will remain in their hearts forever and the world will miss them, too!

Hats off to M. Waleed Khan for his bravery and courage!

Plagiarism

This is with reference

to the letter “Plagiarism” by Altamash Javaid (YW, December 12, 2015). I am one of the regular readers of YW which has always helped me to enhance my knowledge.

It is sad to see how easily and carelessly students are copying others’ poems and sending it as their own. How can these kids be satisfied after doing such a bad act? It is requested to the YW team to reject any contribution from such kids so that they learn a lesson.

Climate change is real

This is with reference to the cover story “Climate change is real” (YW, December 5, 2015). Reading about climate change is always informative but unfortunately, after reading, we just forget about the so important information and what we should do to bring some healthy change in our environment.

As far as I am concerned, no matter what people do and how easily they forget about this beautiful planet, I do my part. I am always concerned and always trying to reuse things, be it old fabric, paper or cartons.

Also, I try to use as little water as I can because it will one day help satisfy someone’s thirst.
