Private school fee

This is in response to the letter “Private school fee” by Shay Haq Ellahi. (YW, December 12, 2015). I totally disagree with the writer that education has not become a business.

It has become a business in Turbat where due to high fee, most parents face problems as they can’t afford to send their children to schools and some have even taken out their children from private schools.

Also, Mr Ellahi is degrading children who study in government schools. He is wrong in saying that due to private schools’, several students have reached foreign countries. Many students from government schools have also gone to foreign countries for higher studies.

And of course, that is because of the ‘hard work’ of the students, not due to private schools! On the other hand, many teachers in private schools are not well-qualified; their qualification is just Intermediate. It is a fact that they are doing business and not imparting quality education. So, it is my humble request to the private schools in Turbat to not make education a business — it is a respectable field and everyone owes to respect it.

The weekly weird

This is with reference to the regular section “The weekly weird.” I am a big fan of weird news as they are extremely funny, odd and unbelievable. I love this section very much that I read it again and again.

I am thankful to the Young World team for coming up with this unique column and I request the team to never stop or shorten the news, as they are just awesome!

Writing tips

YW has always been a great source in increasing our general knowledge and vocabulary and always provides good stories with morals.

But I would like to request the team to add a new column on ‘writing tips’ for new writers. This will enhance their writing skills as they will learn something new every week.

Books

Books come in all genres; they are fascinating, knowledgeable and sometimes emotional, which make us cry. Books have superpowers that compel us to imagine about things we have never thought about before in our lives.

If we read books, our lifestyle changes and we become aware of the world.

Book reading is one of the best habits anyone can ever have. It is my humble request to all readers that it is always good to read books rather than surfing and wasting time on internet.
