Man shot dead in Kohat

KOHAT: A man was shot dead by his alleged rivals in Behzadi Chakar Kot area on the Bannu road here, soon after he was released from prison in a murder case on Saturday.

The cantonment police said Zafar Khan, his brother Wisal Khan, and their cousin Abdul Qadir killed 22-year-old Javed Khan, resident of Nasrat Khel locality of Behzadi Chakar Kot. He was released from prison in a murder case of Zafar Khan’s brother. The accused escaped the area. Later, a police party arrested Abdul Qadir along with the pistol used in the murder. The police registered the case against the three accused and launched investigations.
