Hours ahead of what is billed as the "ultimate" cricket showdown, Pakistani and Indian cricket lovers take to Twitter to have a little fun and do what they do best: hyperventilate, predict and indulge in some good old trolling.
Some people are way too excited
... and are comparing it to SuperBowl
Others play analyst
With separate hashtags, both sides meme their pre-match excitement
The Indian side oozes confidence
Pakistan reminds everyone of previous wins ─ and the divisive favourite Afridi.
Trolling was typically high
They commiserated on common woes
The greens hope
...and pray
But some downplay it
Tired of the constant rivalry (and the mean-spirited cheering), some root for unity
...and stay diplomatic
But everyone knows it's the ultimate cricketing battle

We are not so much excited as Pakistanis look like. In India we are thinking to promote other games like Olympics, football, baseball etc. After match fixing allegations many have stopped watching cricket.

We lost not to the Indian team but to poor umpiring. Kohli was clearly leg before at 7 and that would have changed the outcome.

Hundreds of thousands of children are trained intensely over decades in China to win Olympic medals, and more than $ 1 billion is spent every year to fund these sport schools.
I hope India matches Chinese efforts..we need medals in Olympics and enough of cricket!:):)

India has always beaten pakistan in every ICC tournament -- so pakistanis are too afriad to be excited because they know that they are going to lose again! :)
That was proved correct -- India once again beat pakistan!! :)
