Ambassador of Kuwait Nawaf Abdulaziz Alenazi welcomed guests to a reception to mark his country’s 55th National Day and the 25th anniversary of the State of Kuwait.

Information Minister Pervez Rasheed was the chief guest.

The ambassador said Kuwait is seeking to provide support for Pakistan’s economy through the development of strengthened economic ties between the two countries.

The Kuwaiti dish kahawa was particularly popular with the guests. Guests stayed at the reception late into the night, enjoying the festive event. The ambassador’s son, Mohammad, who is a student in Pakistan, was a cheerful host to his friends.
