@Hashim agree with your assessment but still wish it not come true except Afridi's exit. Not only that he is an expired commodity he also force selection committee to select players like Khurram Mamzoor in the playing eleven. If you don't select Shahzad then give me Khurram Manzoor, this is how the team is selected. He is protecting Umer Akmal when later causes indiscipline by violating the rules.

Hard Core realty world must know that when a Team(Pakistan Team), is barred from playing international cricket teams at their home grounds for 7 years straight then the million dollar question is "how can Pakistan Cricket Team have the heart to play overseas without playing poor?" The more Pakistan Team plays overseas the more they torture their self and psychologically damage their sportsmen ship skills. Is there any other International cricket team in the World Barred from hosting international teams on their home grounds? I don't think so....

There are some serious issues that are not correctly handled by Shahryar & Waqar. Top salaries are paid for top performances. We Pakistani do not deserve to be humiliated just because someone's lack of performance. Pakistan is a much better Team than what is being portrayed in the recent years.

@guest South Africa situation was totally different. SA Government closed not to play against colored people and that was their policy which led to the sanctions by ICC to not allow SA for 21 years. Pakistan is a being barred from not hosting international teams because of the terrorism. In Pakistan the entire Nation wants to see international cricket back in the country.

Now it's enough....as indian I feel sorry for Pak team.I think there is need of complete overhaul of Pak batting line up. Only Umar akmal,sharfaraz Ahmad, Malik and best technical batsman of Pak Ahmad sehzad should be retained and remove all including afridi..hafeez etc . Bring technically sound batsman on merit ,give them chances and have faith in them as we did to Rohit and Dhawan....and see the result as you already have best bowling line-up in the world.please don't make changes in the core of the team after each series....i miss Pak team of 2000-2010 which used to give tough fight to india

Captain, Coach, manager and even the public is to be blamed for this mess. Selfie Shehzad who is the only reasonable Pak opener was not selected because everyone cried that he is not good enough. He is better than the current lot. Hafeez, Khurram Manzoor need to be rested. Babar Azam and Imad Wasim are both in the squad and can easily replace both Hafeez and Manzoor but not sure what the Pakistani think tank is doing. Waqar Younis is absolutely pathetic and needs to be replaced by someone who is a proper coach. PCB couldn't even get Viv. Richards as a batting consultant.

Unfair, I remember in the 90's everyone did the same with Sachin Tendulkar for India with the Bat One Player will never win matches, smart players and Smart teams will eventually learn to negotiate his quota of overs and target other bowlers to score the runs, Pakistan needs to consistently score 130+ in all games irrespective of the conditions, there will be exceptions in a few games but not always Imagine if Amir has one bad day can anyone else step up?

Am I the only one thinking Amir is not that effective on pitches that do not assist pace? He surely is a good bowler, but it's too early to compare him with Wasim. Wasim has proved himself over a period of time against all opponents and on all types of wickets. There is a reason why we call him a legend and not just a good bowler.

The batting line is pathetic except for Sarfaraz and the bowling line is mediocre except for Amir. Pak needs Mohammed Asif back if they want to win. Amir needs someone to complement him. Pakistan is unfortunately out of Asia Cup T 20. Sad we will miss the great duel now between India- Pakistan. I want to hit out at all those who did not make it easy for Pakistani team by criticising the team heavily after their loss to India. Too much of pressure. This is only a game and while Pakistan fans can debate about Afridi's performance... etc; there was no need to demoralize the team, while the tournament was still on. So now both teams India-Pakistan will meet in World Cup T20 ; As for Bangladesh; Congrats , You are indeed an improved team but we take you on. Not as much fun as India- Pakistan though.

M.Amir was bowling his heart out and M.Sami returns the favor by bowling such useless no balls. The team that held its nerve better won it today. I applaud Mortaza to come in at such a crucial time and hit those 2 fours..that diffused the tension right away and put the pressure back on M.Sami who came in to bowl the next over. Sorry Pak fans but the fact of the matter is Shahid Afridi has let the team down with his batting as well as his leadership. Hopefully they get M.Shehzad back and drop Afridi so there will be more balance in batting.

Tense game that went to the wire. Sad to see Pak losing. Those 2 no balls by Sami at that stage were unpardonable and cost them the game. To be fair, think Afridi did some good bowler rotation, tight bowling. Where he slipped was with the bat at the critical scoring stage and unluckily for him, Sami and Anwar Ali let him down today. Pak team needs some serious rebuilding now. Best of luck from India!

Truly speaking, Pakistan team lost the match in second last over. True, their top order batsmen did not do well in this game as well, which means they scored 20-30 runs less than what they would have expected; still bowlers held their nerves till 18th over. People blame batsmen for not getting runs, the bowlers should be held accountable as well, for bowling no balls in the crunch situations.

As a Pakistani, my first comment is to offer very warm congratulations to Bangladesh for a finely played game. I second is to say that Afridi is not only a useless batsman, he must be the most stupid captain playing the game. How could he possibly pick Khurram in the side and give the final over to Anwar Ali whose previous two overs had gone for 11 runs each? Of course he himself scored a duck, but I think we're used to that by now.

India will have to wait till the T-20 WC to defeat pakistan again... I was hoping for a India-Pakistan finals as winning the cup by defeating Pakistan is much more memorable than the win against any other nation...

All other issues aside, I woul fire Afridi and Waqar for choosing to bat first. I don't think, even my 12 year old son would have done this after watching earlier matches.

Just a team in disarray !! Afridi is just too immature and it is so evident on the field..His constant chats,huddles and his after match chat with Rameez was laughable at the best.He can't even find words and just blabbers on senselessly !Even Rameez finished the chat in haste realizing that !!.He is the most over rated cricketer in the world !! There's no solidarity in the team and too much dominance by the senior players which is the team culture ! Teams need to be performance based and not based on seniority or likes !

This result is expected for coming series also if Shahid Afridi lead the team. This is simply wake up call for the selectors. Stop humiliation of fans and take the necessary and firm action. I'm Indian and big fan of Pakistan bowling unit but today whole world is watching the real talent of pace attack is direction less.

Bangladesh have played sensiblly...Not exactly hitting each and every ball blindly eg:Afridi(Mila tho Mila..gaya tho gaya)...I wishedPakistan to win..But Bangladesh team respected their crowd..and Earned love from Indians aswell..I was an Anti Bangladesh team..But I almost cried looking at their happiness..Pakistan have hurted their cricket mad Citizens in all Possible ways..

My Mom was supporting Pakistan (as she wanted to see India Pakistan final) and I was supporting Bangladesh (I did not want to risk playing unpredictable Pakistan again). And after a very stiff match, and couple of NO balls, Bangladesh WINS!!!!

It's perfect time for NS to overhaul PCB. Select a new chairman, board, coach captain and get rid of old failures. This game also exposed pakistan balling. Except Amir (although he didn't bowl well today), everyone took a beating. Selection on the basis of PSL was bad.

Indiscipline: situation in which people do not control their behaviour or obey rules: Misfield in crucial time ...no ball in crucial time...throwing very height ...unnecessarily....these thinks explain about Pak team....indiscipline every angle not only batting side...sack Sami,misfielder,heigt throw man,afridi,hafees, Retain others to world T20...give some time to settle....to young batsmen .....

Pakistan was very much back in game but lost because of the wrong strategy of Captain. Mistakes: 1. should have taken fielding when won toss. 2. Instead of giving last three overs starting from Mohamed Amir, he should have given two to Shoaib Malik and Amir or even to Sami should have been advised not to go after wickets and save runs. malik had the lowest average of all ballers. I think Afridi should leave the captainship and if at all he wants to play he should play in county or go in his business or advertising.

Pakistan team coach and selectors have failed to produce a confident and capable bunch of 11 members. Consistent bad results indicate the problem at the top level in an organization. Some heads must roll in the top management, after this. This day of shame was on the cards for the last one year. Are we going to lose a respectable rating in cricket too, after hockey?

@Fiz Sami never bowled brilliantly in PSL. He only got wickets on half volleys in PSL because our local batting talent is pathetic. He never bowled yorkers in PSL and wasn't put under pressure there. He used to bowl wides and no bowls in 2003 and he has continued the same tonight. No work done on him by Waqar or our any of our bowling coaches.

Does this team deserve to play international cricket? Pakistanis have made these cricketers heroes for nothing. They don't win at all, the word "win" is not in their dictionary. First these pakistanis gave bangladesh on a platter and now losing in cricket too. Afridi's body language was defeated throughout the match. I suggest PAKISTANI nation stopped following cricket for some time and let these cricketers bite the dust and come back to previous glory.

Waqar Younis has mismanaged this team to great levels. Because of his personal ego he hasn't opened with Sarfraz and continued the trend up until tonight. Sarfraz still came before the fifth over and scored well. Hafeez is a huge burden. Afridi lacks decency and common sense. Apart from Sarfraz, Amir, Anwar, Imad and the latest youngsters, all the players should be thrown out of the team immediately.

I thought of another Kohli vs Amir match in the final that would have been ideal preparation for Indian batsmen before the world cup. Amir is really superb, Pakistan tried their best until Sami's final over, 2 no balls changed everything for unlucky Pakistan

Pakistan didn’t play well today. Though the team made a decent recovery after losing some quick wickets in the beginning, they were still at least 15-20 runs short of a strong total. The Bangladesh team deserves credit for playing well. They bowled and fielded extremely well, and that was the difference in the end.

Atrocious performance by Pakistan and deserve all the cheerful comments from Indians and Bangladeshis here. Batting failed again. Bowling was pretty good except that 19th over by Sami. Top 5 don't even know how to hold a bat let alone hit the ball. Club performance really. Heads need to roll at PCB for this debacle but patron in chief is too busy with other things.

.. BCCI has planned this one, took a decade of planning and process, politics to isolate Pakistan cricket..kill them economically and finally make them irrelevant. Pakistan cricket has achieved irrelevance today. In next 1 or 2 decade they would not be playing World Cup Best of luck my dear friends in Pakistan, RIP pak cricket... Let burst the self proclamation of so called "best bowing attack" of Pakistan. After completion of 3 Matches for each of the teams the total number of wickets taken by the respective team is as follows: India 26 Bangladesh 25 Sri Lanka 21 UAE 19 Pakistan 16 It simply shows Pakistan as the worst bowling attack even below the minnows UAE, it just that their bating is so far down that comparatively bowling looks world class (only to them)..

Explanation should be called from captain as to why did he give balling to Anwar ali when Malik balled only one over. His average was 3 plus one wicket. I am not fan of Malik but this is wrong decision of captain.

Bangladesh worked hard to win, and Md. Sami and Pakistani team helped them. Couldn't believe the misfielding in Md. Amir's last over which went for 4. That was stoppable. Sami delivering 2 No Balls (Such big No Balls, not just a miss, looked deliberate) in his last over.

I am Really Feeling Bad For Pakistan's Loss, I have never in My life felt pain of Pakistan's defeat until today. I love afridi, . But I cant see him in Such a sad face. he was almost crying. @manav There were 5 more balls to be bowled so what difference the 2 balls could have made. Whoever would have come to bat they would have hitted 4 or 6 and Sami's over was also not left. So there is no point in crying now. Pakistan batting, bowling and fielding was worst in this crucial match. Sometimes I feel they were afraid to face India so they lost.

The Asia cup should be renamed Bangla Cup. Why is it always held in Bangladesh? It is funny how Bangladesh has been changing the pitch on a single ground to suit their prospects- a green top for the India vs BD game (this backfired though), a greener one the Pak vs India game and then a flat track today when they were afraid of Amir. I wonder what pitch they will prepare for the final! Pakistan has been unlucky- they are coming back from a hectic month of PSL- the new team never got a chance to play together, but got directly thrown against a strong Indian team. As an Indian fan, I will miss playing Pakistan in the final - it would have been a better game against Pak. Against BD, the pitch, the crowd, the umpires will be more significant than the "skills" of the BD players.

Feeling glad and happy to Pakistan defeat . One think Pakistani player must learn from India never boast before the match . Proud comes before hurt. If Pakistan wants to become a good team it should learn many many lesson from team like India & Australia otherwise the Pakistan cricket will get dead soon and Bangladesh will take its place internationally. It seems pakistan batting is taking more time in adjusting to the conditions no doubt Pakistan is having talent in all the departments in worldcup t20 pitches will not be like this pakistan batsman might not be having this conditions so plenty of chances are there they will flourish but bowlers better start working on taking wickets in worldcup t20 it will be difficult bowling in Indian pitches not similar to Bangladesh except very few venues..spinners need to Pakistan
