ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) demanded on Friday the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the allegations leveled by former MQM senator and Karachi nazim, Mustafa Kamal, against the top leadership of his party that “over the years, it has acted hand in glove with the Indian RAW in anti-state activities.”
Chief spokesperson of the party, Naeemul Haq, in a press statement said that the nature of charges in which Mr Kamal had by name accused former interior minister of the PPP government and incumbent senator, Rehman Malik, and MQM chief Altaf Hussain, was too serious to be ignored and must be investigated at the highest forum. “How can one ignore the claims made by one of MQM’s very own,” he said.
At a press conference on Thursday, Mr Kamal and former MQM deputy convener, Anis Kaimkhani, made startling revelations that the two had personally witnessed how the party leadership was involved with RAW and how Mr Malik, being the interior minister, was also privy to all this.
“For around three decades, we have been hearing similar allegations against the MQM leadership. Now the time has come to put the true facts before the general masses without any give and take,” Mr Haq said in the statement.
The PTI information secretary stressed that the assertions made by Mr Kamal shouldn’t be ignored and a judicial commission was the best option to put the controversy to an end.

I concur. The charges leveled by Mustafa Kamal are too serious to be ignored. The government should enter in a plea deal with MK as long as he name names and stand as witness in the trial of the party and its leadership.

Not all the people of Karachi and Sind are as daft as yourself to not know what MQM's activities are and have been. Why not inquiry about APS and BKU during which mr khattak snd company was recreation tour to abroad while KPK was in mess????the opportunists tryin to hold their feet in Karachi but will be unsuccessful. PTI is in a bigger problem as well. Not unusual before PTI will launch campaign against Mustafa Kamal cause MK is sure to break PTI votes in Karachi. So anxious times for PTI, if they campaign against MK then people will say PTI is with MQM and if they endorse MK statements then risk of losing majority of votes to MK. PML N has played really well here, involving them in fight i.e. MQM, PTI and MK the PML N will benefit from it. First green line and now breaking PTI and MQM in kkarachi nice shot by PML N.

The popular grass root party which consists of most highly educated and enlightened people is being tarnished by the people who want to keep their hegemony to poor, innocent, uneducated peasants and laborers. But people from Urban Sindh are adamant and they stood against corrupt ruling mafia who wants educated people to subjugate in front of the mafia.

The question is, where Mustafa Kamal has been hiding all the time? Why didn't he reveal all this at the very start when he got to know all this? He just saved himself by going underground and left his other party workers and the nation at stake. Nodoubt his contribution in the welfare of Karachi is unquestionable, the question is, he might not left the nation alone again when he comes across a situation like this. There is one more suspection that he might not be trying to emerge with the new name with same old agenda.

This is government obligation to investigate what the ex Karachi mayor, Kamal has disclosed. Since statements reveal RAW part, all results should be disclosed. If no link found between MQM and India then ex Mayor should be given jail terms.

I never imagined Mustafa Kamal could have come out like this. Perhaps he and Anis were under highest pressure to say such things otherwise any sane, educated person cannot speak like that. I was very disappointed with MK emotional talk and doubt he spoke truth. Courts need proofs and evidences and not emotions otherwise anybody will register cases against anyone in court of law.

But the key question remains, whether Raman Malik former iterior minister would be investigated, as to what he knew about MQM-RAW connections at the time, as per Mustafa Kamal's statements. But much more important that what Rahman Malik, as a sitting Interior Minister did with any available information at the time? Looks like, this issue would be raised again and again, when Rahman Malik comes back to Pakistan.

Any patriotic authority cannot afford to ignore, what was MQM connection with RAW, and how much Rahman Malik a former interior minister knew about it. It is said that Rahman Malik is out of country, he should come back to Pakistan and present himself for providing all he knew. Pakistan's security is more important than any individual.
