KOHAT: Two brothers and an Afghan refugee were gunned down in Jungle Khel area of the Kohat city on Sunday.

The police said that four accused entered the drawing room of a house in Sikandar Khan locality and started indiscriminate fire with automatic weapons. Two brothers, Mohammad Suleman, Mohammad Hassan Gul, and an Afghan, Habib, died instantly.

Rafiullah, cousin of the deceased brothers, told the Jungle Khel police that his relatives had an altercation with the accused a few days back which led to the triple murder.

The police reached the house and interrogated the local people and those present in the house at the time of the incident. They also collected evidence from the crime scene and shifted the bodies to the KDA divisional headquarters hospital, Kohat, for postmortem. Later, the bodies were handed over to the heirs.

The police also started an operation to arrest the culprits.
