Pakistan cricket team arrived at The Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Friday to train ahead of their World T20 match against India. During the session, Indian batsman Virat Kohli presented Mohammad Amir with a cricket bat.
“I had asked him for a bat during the Asia Cup and Virat said he would give me one in India,” Amir was quoted as saying by Wisden India.
“I am glad he remembered that. He has fantastic bats, and I am confident I will be able to contribute with the bat too in time to come for Pakistan.”

One who performs good in this match will get all his previous mistakes erased. Team Pakistan should play fearlessly & with a positive attacking cricket. They will win. A very Good Luck to all members of the team.

Nice to see two modern stars of the game sharing lighter moments together. Pakistan some how has to get over the jinx of not being able to defeat India in a WC. If they do so, it will be hard for India to qualify unless BD defeats some contender. In fact defeating India will help in eliminating one big WC contender.
On the other side, India will be happy to face Pakistan in this do or die situation as Pakistan team always takes extra pressure in these encounters whereas Indian remains cool. Whatever happens, we want to see a hardly fought match with Aamir and Kohli fighting it out....

Pakistan puts pressure on themselves and end up loosing. They are more balanced on paper than India. India might loose more because of bad team selection. They should drop Raina and bring in Rahane for batting stability. Yuvraj is also not consistent. They should have taken Pandey instead. But knowing Dhoni he will stick to the same team..which could backfire.

So how does Sethi or PCB or whoever makes Pakistan lose on purpose? Do they hypnotize the players or do they offer kickbacks or is there some other medium that makes them underperform. And why does this not leak out to the media/public eventually?
Let's not be naive. There is no conspiracy going on. Enjoy the match!

I am a die hard India fan. I hope India overwhelms Pakistan and beats them by 10 wickets or 100 runs. But I will say this...if it is not India to win the tournament..then I hope it is Pakistan. Amir made a mistake as a kid... He got greedy...as if the others are not greedy. He had paid for his mistake... And I pray to God that I see him bowl to Kohli for a long time to come... India Pakistan cricket clash has always been incredibly high voltage encounters more for viewers as compared to players who apparently seem to be quite relaxed. They very rightly claim it as any other bilateral enc and that helps them to perform. Some of them, probably youngsters may be experiencing extraordinary pressure which obviously affects their performance. At the end of the day everyone assimilates it as a game in which one side only can win and other is said to have lost.

One great result does not make a team World beaters, nor does one poor result make a team a pushover. This is T20 we are talking about where if India play like they did against New Zealand even Afghanistan can beat them. Similarly if Pakistan plays as they did against Bangladesh, they can beat any team. Reputation counts for nothing, performance on the day counts for everything.
