ISLAMABAD: The protesters manhandled two mediapersons in the capital on Sunday.

While marching towards D-Chowk, the protesters were asking each other why they were not being highlighted by the media.

At Blue Area, when a cameraman of Samaa TV, Nawaz Ahmed, started filming the participants, they became violent saying when the media was not giving them coverage why he was making the video.

The protesters broke the camera and beat up the cameraman due to which he sustained injuries.

Khurram Amin, who works as a photographer for Dawn, was also attacked near D-Chowk.

A group of protesters beat him and also snatched his camera. The journalist community condemned both the incidents.
