FAISALABAD: At least 20 people were killed and 11 others injured when a bus collided with a trailer near Adda Sohal, on the road to Jhang, on Wednesday morning.

Rescue 1122 shifted the bodies and the injured to Allied Hospital.

Doctors said the condition of three of the injured was critical.

City Police Officer Afzaal Kausar said the bus was going to Layyah-Bhakkar from Faisalabad.

He said a case under sections 322 and 337-G of the Pakistan Penal Code had been registered on the complaint of Liaqat Ali, whose two nephews, Ahmed Raza and Abdul Rehman, died in the accident.

According to the FIR, the driver was driving the bus rashly.
