Birds with fancy tail feathers

This is regarding the cover article “Birds with fancy tail feathers” compiled by Benazir Raz (YW, March 26). The information regarding the beautiful tails of the various birds was great and the pictures were amazing too.

Few of us have heard or seen such beautiful tail feathers of any bird other than the peacock. Therefore, the information was new and interesting to us. I request the writer to compile more unique information like this in future.

The feature “Birds with fancy tail feathers” compiled by Benazir Raz was truly remarkable. We undermine the beauty of birds most of the time, although they have lovely colourful feathers and great skills to scare other and bigger birds, engineering skills to build their nests and so much more.

All creatures, whether birds, animals, bugs, etc, are unique and because of YW such unique and interesting information is easily available to its readers. I thank the writer and the YW team for their great work.

Living within a budget

This is with reference to the cover article “Living within a budget” by Yasmin Elahi (YW, March 19). The article was a great reminder to kids (and everyone else) to spend their money wisely, especially in this era when the prices of things have soared to the skies and we all need to save money as much as possible for the future.

Saving money and not spending on unnecessary things will make it easy for parents to focus on the essentials in life. And if we keep insisting on getting the latest toys and gadgets, our parents might not be able to save for our future. Also, it is better to save our pocket money so that if we like something we can buy it from our money and not burden parents.

Website review

This is regarding the website “Feedly” by Asif Ali (YW, March 19). This was one of the most useful sites the writer has reviewed till now. The website is a great tool for all those who spend much of their time on internet as it helps keep all your personalised feed on one page without you spending lots of time on various sites.

I really like this site and I would request the writer to review more tech-related and web research websites that assist students in their assignments.

Young news

This is with reference to the “Young news” (YW, March 19). I always like “Young news”, because it is full of fabulous, fantastic and amazing news.

The two pages cover everything that we kids should know, for instance, what is happening in showbiz, facts, about the past, new words, and all about the weird and amazing stuff people are doing around the world. So I request the YW team to continue with their hard work and bring us interesting news every week.

Evolution of Disney Princesses

This is with reference to the cover story “Evolution of Disney Princesses” by Maham Maooz Ansari (YW, April 2). I loved the article very much because it was about all my favourite Disney princesses.

I must say all are unique in their own way, their modesty, bravery and sensibility — everything is what a girl always wants to acquire in her personality and in my opinion it is good to have good qualities of a princess rather than copying today’s pop stars who boost nothing but money and their grand lifestyle.
