QUETTA: Sindh overwhelmed Balochistan by seven runs on the second day of the 13th National Softball Championship on Saturday.

Sindh totalled 18 runs while Balochistan posted 11.

Captain Irum Khan, Aisha Ishtiaq, Humaira Nazeer and Deba Gul performed well for the winners. Aqsa of Balochistan scored two runs.

In Saturday’s second match, Punjab defeated Khyber Pakhtu­nkhwa 21-11.

For the winners, Fariha Niaz and Maria Qamar scored three runs each while Zahra Hashmi and Kiran Azad made a couple apiece.
