LAHORE: The First Hamza Shahbaz Lahore Region Cricket Association (LRCA) U-19 One-day Cricket League starts at different grounds from Monday.

According to chief organiser Khawaja Nadeem Ahmed, 12 teams from East, North and West zones, which are affiliated with the LRCA, are participating in the tournament.

The teams have been divided into four pools and each team will play two league matches in their respective pools. Cash prizes for best wicket-keeper, fast bowler, spin bowler, batsman and fielder will be at stake.

On the first day of the tournament, four matches will be played.

Nadeem stated that top performers will be selected for the upcoming U-19 Regional Inter-district 2016-17 championship, beginning next month.

Schedule:

April 18: North Zone Blues vs East Zone Blues at LCCA Ground; North Zone Whites vs West Zone Whites at Ittefaq Ground; West Zone Reds vs East Zone Reds at Racecourse Ground-1; North Zone Greens vs West Zone Greens at Racecourse Ground-2.

April 19: North Zone Blues vs West Zone Blues at LCCA Ground; North Zone Whites vs East Zone Whites at Ittefaq Ground; West Zone Reds vs North Zone Reds at Township Whites Ground; North Zone Greens vs East Zone Greens at Stags Ground Model Town.

April 20: East Zone Blues vs West Zone Blues at LCCA Ground; West Zone Whites vs East Zone Whites at Ittefaq Ground; East Zone Reds vs North Zone Reds at Racecourse Ground-1; West Zone Greens vs East Zone Greens at Racecourse Ground-2.
