ISLAMABAD: The body of a man was found floating in Rawal Lake on Saturday, police said.

Some passersby spotted the body and later informed the police who arrived at the scene and helped the rescue personnel in retrieving the body.

According to the police, the body, which is yet to be identified, bore no injury marks.

An autopsy on the body, which seems to be a couple of days old, has been sought to ascertain the cause of death.

The police believe that the man fell into the lake and drowned.
