Eid bonus demanded

ISLAMABAD, Nov 16: The president of the Punjab Professors and Lecturers Association (PPLA), Rawalpindi division, Mohammad Ilyas Qureshi, has urged the government to pay at least one month salary in bonus to the government employees on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.

Speaking at a function held here on Sunday, the PPLA president said at a time when the salaries of the parliamentarians had been doubled, the government should also consider at least paying one Eid bonus to the employees, enabling them to cope with the ever-increasing price hike.—A Reporter
