ISLAMABAD: The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has called upon India to implement the UN Security Council’s resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the Foreign Office spokesman, the OIC in the joint communique issued at the end of the recent summit in Istanbul expressed concern at the indiscriminate use of force and gross violation of human rights in India held Kashmir by the security forces.
The summit affirmed support to the Kashmir struggle and said it could not be equated with terrorism.

Just like you have kept the Kashmiris in IOK in recycle bin for last 7 decades.
The lesson for India and Israel is that things NEVER stay permanent forever. Time will come when the oppressed people in your countries will have a power and strength to challenge your oppression. Be afraid of that time and stop the oppression now and give people their due rights.

India has $ 72 bn annual remittances from the world, highest human skulls drawing a highest share. This so-called shining economy fetches 39 billion US $ from the GCC alone (more than 50 % of total remittances) to support its vast population. Yet, she discards the call. May be there is problem with OIC call. Retrospection needed.

The resolution which was passed by United Nation Security Council was under chapter VI of UN Charter. Resolutions passed under Chapter VI of UN charter are considered non-binding and have no mandatory enforceability as opposed to the resolutions passed under chapter VII. Any resolution under chapter VI is non-mandatory. Even if a plebiscite was to happen according to United Nations Security Council 47, adopted on April 21, 1948, Pakistan was supposed to withdraw all of its forces from the territory which was the 1st condition of the resolution

Is it a some kind of joke? OIC was formed to promote unity within Muslim countries. It was primarily created to protect the State of Palestine following Israeli invasion and capture of Al-Quds (Jerusalem). But after decades now we find that OIC is riddled with disunity and bitter differences within it. For OIC to be effective in international relations, it is necessary that all the differences including sectarian and geo-political are set aside and move ahead with one voice.

The Conference reaffirmed its principled support for the people of Jammu and Kashmir for the realization of their legitimate right to self-determination, in accordance with relevant UN resolutions and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. It further reaffirmed that Jammu and Kashmir is the core dispute between Pakistan and India and its resolution is indispensable for bringing peace in South Asia.

Since its creation, the OIC has been "urging" and "urging" India to 'solve' the Kashmir 'problem'. And they have been "urging" and "urging" Israel to 'stop' tormenting the Palestinian people. I 'urge' that they should conduct a policy review to check if any one has been impressed by their continuous urging. Or else, stop making a fool of the people while trying to white-wash the leaders of 'ummah'.
