BUNER: Jamaat-i-Islami chief Sirajul Haq has criticised the delay in formation of the judicial commission to investigate the allegations brought up by the Panama Papers, adding the commission should be headed by Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

He stated this while addressing a public gathering at Swari College ground here on Sunday. The JI chief on the occasion unveiled the future plan of his party.

He claimed that the JI would establish an Islamic state through the power of ballot in the coming general elections in 2018. He said Quran would be the country’s supreme law and the chief justice would decide cases as per its guidelines. The children will get free education until matriculation. The curriculum will be the same for the children of the poor and the rich. Schools and madrasahs will teach the same curriculum, he explained, saying treatment for five deadly diseases would be free for all citizens.

Mr Haq said every homeless family would have free home, adding everyone would have employment opportunity. He continued that elderly people would get allowances and prayer leaders would be paid equal to school teachers. Marriage for every adult will be responsibility of the state, he promised.

The JI chief said the state would pay debts of every dead poor person, adding all the looted money deposited in the western banks would be returned back to country. Corruption will be eliminated by hanging the corrupt elements, he threatened.

The JI chief went on to say that fuel would be available at Rs20 per litre and smooth supply of electricity would be ensured against Rs5 per unit. He rejected levy of any tax in the Malakand division, adding the rulers wanted to collect funds from masses to accumulate more wealth.
