SUKKUR: Three of the seven policemen who were gunned down in Karachi on Wednesday were laid to rest in their ancestral graveyards in Ghotki on Thursday with full police honours.

The bodies of Wazir Chachar, Daim Din Chachar and Ghulam Rasool Memon arrived in Ghotki on Thursday morning and the funeral prayers were held in the Govt Degree College playground of the city.

Ghotki Deputy Commissioner Tahir Wattoo, SSP Masud Bungash, Colonal Shoaib Asghar of the Pakistan Army and a large number of people, besides the bereaved families and their relatives, attended the funeral.
