The security forces in Balochistan arrested an Afghan Border Force (ABF) personnel from Pishin district of the province on Sunday, it has been learnt.

Security sources said that law enforcement personnel along with of officials of an intelligence agency conducted a raid in Pishin Bazar area and apprehended the ABF official.

Important documents and explosives were recovered from the possession of the Afghan forces personnel, sources added.

"The Afghan official was tasked to carry out subversive activities in Balochistan," the security personnel alleged.

The ‘spy’ was assigned the task to carry out terrorist activities in Chaman, Pishin and Quetta on the directives of senior Afghan army official, they stated.

The ABF official was shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.

This arrest comes few weeks after the arrest of two Afghan intelligence officials from Balochistan last month.
