Is PM Nawaz's development agenda an attempt to cover up Panamagate?
The PM has been hitting out at the opposition, accusing them of halting development and likening them to terrorists.

In two weeks, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif made stops in five cities, announcing development projects:
- Kotli Sattiyan on April 25
- Mansehra on April 28
- Quetta on May 2
- Bannu on May 3
- Sukkur on May 6
But what has the premier really been saying?

Let us be realistic. The current breed of Pakistanis have all grown through the cobweb of corrupt practices and they cannot see any righteous leader, at least in the current generation. we shall have start our fight for clean living and growing clean generations, fed and bred clean. Only then there would be any hope. Till then, let us be content with the lesser goons of the available lot.

He is trying his best to evade by diverting attention to other parties by dragging skeletons from their closets and by announcement of developmental projects.

Without a doubt. It is calculated tactic to sway the general public, distract his critics and buy some time, hoping some other major event will trump all other concerns for the citizens, and people will forget about Panama leaks and his wealth overseas..
He's determined to finish his term in office at any cost. Now the public has to decide if he's worth keeping in office - notwithstanding his cosmetic development projects. The money taken outside the country will have to be returned - one way or the other.

Fact that this is even a question after everything has been laid open before us shows us the level of duplicity PM plays in people. Simplest facts are still so hard for people to understand and crystal clear, repeated evidences still foggy in their minds. How can this nation call itself literate when it can't even distinguish b/w black and white?

@Azi I agree with you. The proofs are there to see in the leaks!! The lies and contradictory statements are there to see!! By now any other PM would have resigned as has already happened. With such level of innocence in our nation even if a video of someone from the ruling elite committing a crime comes we would not believe it if that someone calls it fake. Or are we so hopeless that we believe that nothing is going to change? Such depressing and feeling of hopelessness mindset is sinful though!!

@Talha
While depression and hopelessness might be sinful. I think greater sin is to not act. I havnt to date heard of or seen a single protest in this matter in Pakistan. Its like people do not care how big of a crime is being committed by our PM. Its like he is reaching into your pocket, taking out your wallet, taking all the cash and giving you 10 rupees back, and telling to if you vote for him he will give you rest of it back. When what he really would do is head to London for a shopping spree with excuses of medical checkup.
How long will this country keep letting its wealth stolen and people do nothing about it? Its one of the main reasons educated people run out of this country and dont even think of coming back because like leaders like people.

This proves that the current parliamentary system is a failed system. The flawed elections always bring the biggest scoundrels of the country to the parliament from each and every political party. The helpless nation just look at the loot and plunder of public funds and the life styles of the royal public representatives.
All we need is a lean and thin government with a 15 member council at the federal level and 10 members in each province. The selection of such people should be done by only the top 1000 taxpayers of this country whose money has been looted by these corrupts. This will save billions spent on parliamentarians and the elections.
