DUBAI: India's Shashank Manohar has been elected unopposed as the first independent chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC), the game's governing body said on Thursday.
Under reforms Manohar himself initiated within the ICC, the new chairman must be an independent candidate with no formal links to any other country.
An administrator with a clean image, Manohar resigned as the chief of the powerful Indian cricket board (BCCI) on Tuesday and commenced his two-year term at ICC with immediate effect.

I played with his son Sunil Manohar in Nagpur . He never recommended his own son to Vidhabar ranji team.
He said to his son score and get in. Finally his son scored couple of century to get in that team.

What are the chances that he will do the justice to cricket and will play a role to bring cricket back to Pakistan and will order India to play test series with Pakistan as the promised.... For Indian friends please don't reply to this post and blame security in Pakistan as we all know India won't play with Pakistan even in India.
